Look: Insensitive Tyranny

 

Hello everyone!

I guess its time to update some of my looks fresh from my new wardrobe with a little spice of DIY! who doesnt like DIY?! hahaha

Insensitive Tyranny

 

The look is kind of a nerdy one, I may be assuming but the look Im strutting is about a librarian/bookworm look. The buttonup shirt, bow tie, satchels and nerdy glasses would give you an idea Im aiming for that look.

I love how it turned out actually, even the plain brown background from my room upstairs served its purpose and the lighting was also great! Its from a small window in front of me. It was afternoon that time, so the light is subtle.

My bow tie is actually a DIY project. I had nothing to do at home so I gathered some scrap heap of cloth and some faux pearls and this pearl monster was born. I did another one, black and studded and Ill feature it in another post.

It took me roughly an hour to finish it since Im already in the aid of my trusty sewing machine. I admit adding the beads or beading was fun and worthwhile the threadwork at the back is shabby! but it still looks great!

Ill be doing a lot more of these bow tie babies and its gonna be a week! You’ll be luck if I could post a tutorial, but there are handfuls of tutorials on the internet and probably better.

Hello readers! ( I got to think of some other ways to open a blog post, the “hello readers” act is getting too, bland)

so we went to this rock cavern near our beach the other day. I might say the place looks pretty neat and ideal for exotic photoshoots. A little travel and photography do seem to get along together. Basically its summer here in PH (Rather hotter than usual) and you know when its summer here? it rains fire, pardon me for the exaggeration but the heat feels like YOU’RE ABOUT TO MELT. Summer for me would the good time of the year because I do leisure more often and I could use bright and vivid clothes to match with the sunny weather but I do prefer winter to be honest.

The photographs turned out to be quite well. My team should’ve used mroe complex materials for photoshoots, but a camera, some natural light and skilled post processing would do. Oh and you might have noticed I havent set ‘tones’ or color schemes in the photo, I’d love the color so filters arent needed + summer is probably all about bright and colorful tones so these would do.

My color scheme for this look is truly a fav. Im getting crazy over how vivid my blue shorts looked, along with the lighter hue scarf I found in my closet (which I bought haphazardly in an attempt to burn money when Im bored) my shirt also did a good job, I added gold spikes on the wingtips for extra leverage and I used some gold accessories too. My shoes were a tad expensive (1,300 php) but they’re worth it, tho I only use them seldom (Im afraid it would wear off + gold is not a very flexible color, in my opinion that is).

I love how my sister took a photo from behind a bush and blurred them it kind of added a first-person feel, or a someone-is-watching-you feeling, whatever. Okay so I decided thats time to make some improvement after a year of procrastination. Im going to improve my lookbook account and add some new followers and readers to this blog. As always, helping me and/or comments are always welcome 🙂

Learn to Love again

OUTFIT POST!

Finally. I know you guys have been waiting for me to post an outfit, which I myself am pretty excited too.

2nd semester finally had its time and its all dust this time around. Now Im enjoying my 2-week summer ‘break’. This time around I have summer classes, which is quite a bum and all, but its better than doing nothing when you’re at home.

Me and my sister took turn taking shots of ourselves and the results are quite satisfactory, good I might say 🙂

Here’s my sister’s outfit (which undeniably garnered 100+  likes in facebook, talk about ms. popular)

AND here’s my look. I used my recently bought black denim shirt (which isnt actually denim, the cloth pattern made it look like denim + its comfortable to wear) along with my camel suede pants-turned-pedal some spiked accessories and shoes.

The time of ‘shoot’ was late afternoon around 4:00 pm, so the heat is a bit ablaze and the sun is still bright. but I love how it turned out + how my post-processing skills has gone honed.

Some of you might be wondering why ‘Learn to Love again’ is the title. Lets just say, I went through something tragic, recovering, yes, and in no time Ill be back in track. Somehow the wounds he left we a bit lighter, or maybe this time around Im just stronger than my previous self. Well, what doesnt kill you make you stronger as they would say so lets abide.

Apocalyptic Shopping

Hi everyone 🙂

I dont know if Im deserving to show my face to you right now, since I broke ny promise to update this blog more often.

Ok Im sorry + I know the rule that you shouldnt apologize when its accompanied by an excuse, but here’s my excuse:

-school. Ive been so busy. Obviously.
-lazyness. Well it loves my company.
-frequent blocks. There are just times where I dont know what to blog about.

Well I wont promise that Ill blog regularly but Ill do my best to blog 🙂

Ok so as all of you know about the Mayan prophecy that the world WILL end by 21st of December this year. Well. It didnt. I didnt believed such thing from the start, though I admit Ive been a bit scared when I saw the movie. Well as every human being should do when the world ends: Live like there is no tomorrow.

Some people would prolly make use of their well-preserved virginity or fuck every person they meet on thw street. Some just posted end-of-the-world nudes in their respective accounts. Well I myself just made my apocalyptic experience special.

Knowing that the world is going to end 3 days aftwr my bday, I decided to go and make use of hard-saved allowance.

First I bought some fierce kicks. Studded and gold. Ive been craving for these babies since I first saw them trend 2 seasons ago. Luckily I now own a pair 🙂

I also bought some accessories to add up to my collection. Im more of a fanciful accessory junky. They’re iconic + affordable (and by affordable I mean CHEAP) there’s this local accessory store which is prolly owned by a chinese merchant where they sell these accessories for quite a decent value (unlike those wallet-bleeding accessories u find in branded stores)

Lastly I bought some new clothes!! Two new pants. I have thise weird shortage of trousers, to the extent that Ive been using the same pair every week!!! I also bought my button-ups. The two are denim. Well denim-like I think. Ive been wanting to own these since forever. I bought the shirt because I love the print and I thought it had ARMANI on it. But no, it spelt MR MAN. Do I have dyslexia or something??

Well its Xmas eve here in my place so Im gonna go and stuff myself. Ive been a bag of bones lately. Ill post another one soon.

Take everything in gradation…

Hello!

Here’s another photo collage blog where I talk about things Im currently addicted to and obviously obsessing on. This one is about….

OMBRES!!!

if so you know, ombres are more popular on hair which then lead to ombre fashion. Ombre actually came from the french word shade. So in a nutshell, Ombres are gradations of colors or a shade of a color. The subtle or chaotic gradation from black to white, white to pink and the like.

I usually call it “dip dye” clothing since using the word ombre makes me sound Mexican (no, this is not racist speech and I have nothing against Mexicans 😉 ). Well, in this uncivilized poorly economized place where Im staying, i cant find anything Ombre here (or pretty much anything that trends) usually the thing trending around the world right now, it will take a year or 2 for it to trend here *facepalms* anyway, I find the trend quite unique.

There are some Ombre style shirts and dresses which can be bought from Zara or ASOS but they’re pretty much pricey and stuff. Since Im a (non-sew) DIY freak I’d like to do it alternatively. Improvise. With the help of a plain white cotton shirt just sitting around cluttering my closet, I can turn it into a fashion statement for less than a dollar!

I’ve actually done two ombre’s earlier today (one orange, and one grass green). Dont worry, Ill be making more and this time with photos 🙂

Oh and if you have dark clothes or denim you can bleach them! The same way how you dyed the clothes. But dont let the garment in the bleach too long, or you wont like the consequences.

Born This Way: The Closet Tour

Hello!

Good news is I’ve been quite active lately in lookbook. Been joining in forums, adding comments, opinions, adding topics to ponder about just to waste time and the like. I’ve been adding some new looks and stuff.

Being a fashion enthusiast I bet a lot of you might be wondering what my closet looks like.  Well its not much, its simple and not quite big. Well I cant just describe it with words and such, now’s the time you get a glimpse of the (only) place in the world I’d love to get lost into (next to shopping malls)

Here’s the overall appearance of my closet. Hanged shirts + blazers are at the top and some t-shirts, jeans and shorts at the bottom (I hid my undies >:p)

If you burrow deep inside, you can find I have two shoe boxes filled with my obsession for Victoria’s Secret scents. I have some BBW and other stuff, a little too many to name.

I wont be posting much about it since it looks like a total drab. I guess Ill leave you with these pictures. I know some of you are surprised and/or mortified. My closet is full, (bursting apparently) so I need a bigger one.

If I were to recreate my closet I would make it as big as my room. An entire floor maybe and/or one house! I just love being surrounded by clothes (I’d rather die being smothered by it) I want my closet to be as big as my room because that room can be my only place to hide in if the world hates me.

Given the opportunity, I would gladly make it into a maze. If ever there’s a intruder they would get lost (and later on delivered to a dungeon of dirty laundry)

A touch of heaven

Yesterday me, my sister and my mom went to the derma clinic. My mum had her moles and warts burned off which made her look like she had chicken pocks or a bad case of the measles. I wanted to have a check up. I had three full-blown zits and some mild acne and pimple scars on my left cheek, so I need a check up to clear these things out.

The dermatologist was busy doing some check ups so I decided I should go for a facial which is my very first time. I was a bit nervous because my mum told me last time that it’s a bit painful when you get a facial. They pop your zits and clear out some white heads and some impurities. I have 3 big zits.!! Talk about bad timing!

The scenario is quite calming. I lay down on a bed, got myself covered up with towels and such and the facial begins. They were adding some creams and toners, facial scrubs and then rinsing them off with warm water. After adding some sort of cream they steamed my face for 5 minutes.

And they cleaned my face. Somehow, the painful part, they dig out your white heads and blackheads and sometimes pop your zits. In my part, it wasnt really painful, it’s actually relaxing, a bit painful at times, but it’s just a mild sting. Then they used this device that ‘sucks’ or vacuums your face, and a glass apparatus with a glowing red rod that I think, burns out the pimples or impurities. Afterwards they applied a cream mask and let it dry for about 10 minutes.

Haha I look like rihanna beaten up by Chris Brown. Lol

They rinsed my face, added some cream and finished the whole procedure. The whole facial took like 40 minutes. I do love the part where massage your face + the relaxing music. My face felt new and cleansed, relaxed. It was smooth as a baby’s bottom.the whiteheads are definitely gone but the pimples and scabs are still there. I need to get a check up afterwards, but the doctor was. Were gonna go back there next saturday for a follow-up check up and hopefully another facial.

As of now I’m gonna use sulfur soaps and lemon extracts to resolve my acne problem. Hope it works.

Year-End shopping

Site stats keeps on fluctuating. Ok. Keep Calm and Blog.

Yesterday, me and my sister went to the local mall to go accompany mom to buy some groceries. On our arrival, there was like a huge wave of people shopping + buying groceries, and that’s when I realized the local mall had their annual year-end clearance sale.

Here are the pictures of my one-day adventure 🙂

  • Upon arriving to the mall, we went straight through the market part of the mall, when mom texted they were upstairs shopping for some shoes.
  • When we got there I went on trying some shoes and ended up buying a pair of Toms brogue shoes. They look like Oxford’s but a little bit round + the leather is quite soft. Oh, and my mom also bought me the usual Toms, aww how sweet.
  • So Im off to pay for the shoes where the line is so long, it took forever to pay for the shoes, but finally I bought them 🙂 I still want to buy some boat shoes which cost like 700 php or more than 10 bucks and if they had Oxford shoes Im really gonna force myself to only use 10% of my weekly allowance which is 1000 php.
  • After the shoe shopping, me + my BFF que, went down and raid their clothing sale which was marked down to 100 php or like 2 bucks.
  • I bought 3 shorts for only 300 php (100 each) and 2 tees for 200 php (100 each)
  • I should’ve bought some long colored socks but Im out of money, I murdered my 1000 php
  • My perverted little friend had the camera with him. We passed by this ‘Men’s Underwear’ section and he started wrecking havoc
  • So we went down and had little stroll, even though we were dying for a seat and my foot is aching and probably has some blisters.
  • We passed by this shop with some glasses, its too bad they dont have round ones :/ but anyway, I bought some wayfarer glasses for only 90 php ;))
  • That’s when we met with Ara and her crew 🙂 I miss this girl! She got white + rosy cheeks and she got more prettier and made me more jealous of her
  • We went back to the groceries afterwards only to end up going home bringing the fruits + other supplies my mum brought earlier that day
  • At home, blah blah blah surfing the net, and we had Pizza + Siomai balls as a snack! Scrumptious!
  • Night came and we decided to buy some fireworks or sparklers
  • Please forgive my friend querubin, he was a bit, ummmm, New to the camera
  • We went to auntie’s house only to fnd out they were cooking for New Year’s Eve dinner 🙂 Yummy!
  • And off we go to the city plaza and bought some sparklers
  • We bought some fountains, sparklers, and this firework called Steel Beauty
  • My cousins wont stop blabbing about where’s Goodbye Philippines? I wanna see it (Goodbye Philippines is an illegal firecracker)
  • Took some pictures of the city lights (not to mention there were some guys who were talking about me as a gay version of harry potterignorant little A-holes)
  • Finally went home after we bought some fruits for NYE dinner
  • Made some banana almond shakes + mango milk shakes
  • Tested my prototype Sparkler Bra. It works!

Well that’s what happened yesterday. What a great day it was! :DD

Buttered Coffee

Hello gummy bears! 😀

So this morning I decided to have breakfast. Nothing special. Just the usual Buttered bread and Creamed coffee. Yes. I’m a sucker for coffee and dairy products.

I suck at foodtography

Besides a hearty satisfying breakfast I reached for some magazine near where I am. Since I was just doing nothing or maybe even procrastinating I figures out  should entertain myself a bit 😉

3 Mags about interior designs the other 2 were celeb gossip mags which did not interest me

My mom + her sister (my aunt) has a thing with interior designs. I love how my aunt designs her house. My mom on the other hand has a great taste on furniture + expensive room accessories, but she pretty much crowds the place (not to mention our ‘house space’ is a bit lacking). Anyway, I figured out that since Im going to build a mansion with 180 rooms, might as well pick some designs, from outdoor gardens and landscapes to indoor bed rooms and bath houses.

I’ve always had a thing for interior design. It’s my second favorite thing aside from fashion. I just love getting boxed in a room so fab I can just die in it. I have this weird urges to go buy some wallpaper and design my room, or sometimes go look on some furniture at SM’s Our Home I even treat curtains + table runners as a fashion ensemble. The whole point of it, is that I want to mix and math, explore and experiment and see what I would concoct or make.

I myself has a taste for the modern, sleek, simple, symmetric, elegant and spacious feel. It’s too bad the mag didn’t have a lot of those. They featured some oriental, native, spanish-esque designs which my mom constantly drools of. Anyway, here are the pictures I’ve taken which pretty much I like.

I apologize for the bad quality + the glares.

After reading/scanning through the mag, I got up and went outside. The sun decided NOT to show up. Its weathers like these that makes me feel enlightened. I’m savoring my last moments of the holidays. Afterwards, I’m gonna suffer  survive the remaining three months till summer. Yes. Spring break here DOES NOT EXIST.

My Only wish/es this year

This is not another blog post about a blogger’s wishlist.

Just kidding 😛

Okay so today is 23rd december. OMG tomorrow’s Christmas eve! 😀 Im so excited!!!!! I like bought gifts for every member of the family + my BFF. Hmmmm. I think I bought + wrapped like 20+ gifts? somewhat, and I think I expended more than 4000 php on just the gifts! Ill post the things I’ve bought for them after christmas/ after they have opened their gifts.

Okay. Wishlist. ummmm. *lists*

1. Satchel – I really want one of these. They’re convenient, stylish + they’d go perfect with my clothes! People at my place dont know what this is, srsly, they need globalization. 

2. Silk scarves – I really have no reason why I want these babies, but there’s this force that entices me when I see these things. Preferably to accessorize?

3. Coats – I have deep orgasms on Trench coats and Military coats especially if they’re double breasted. Oh, and I also have a thing for blazers.

4. Vintage sunnies – I love vintage. I love vintage sunnies, esp. the round ones. Oh and if you want to give me these babies, can you kindly throw in some Gaga flip glasses? thanks.

Oh and btw, there’s this shop that sells DAMN FINE vintage sunglasses for only 9.99$ here’s the heavenly site oh and they do sell Gaga flip glasses. srsly, if I had a credit card, I’d murder the site.

5. Oxford shoes – you can call these babies dress shoes/brogue shoes or Dad’s shoes. I find these shoes quite cool! I’d like to mix and match ’em with my outfit. Im going for the Harajuku-Avant Garde Modern Vintage look. Now that is a mouthful

oh and you could buy some elegant + towering shoes at solestruck.com they have beautiful Lita shoes and loafers by Jeffrey Campbell but the prices are a bit on the ‘ouch’ side but Im pretty sure it’s worth it.

6. Lady Gaga –  srsly. if you can give me this bitch, Ill die a happy death. No reasons. Give her to me. Right now! No more, no less.

7. Gaga merchandise – If you cant give me Lady Gaga, well, give me her merchandise. I duly accept the Born This Way collection, some Gaga t-shirts, Gaga collectibles such as posters and etc.

8. Family – I want my family complete this Christmas eve + christmas day. I want to enjoy the holidays with them especially gift giving. The holidays wouldnt be the same without them.

9. Luxury house – Let’s go surreal. I want a house, complete with a pool, an outdoor theater,  a closet full of my clothes, jewelries and everything I want.

10. Partner – okay now this is what Im least expecting to find under my Christmas tree. Someone I can live with in my luxury house :)) Okay. No more chit chat. I hope my partner would look like this:
